What a Christmas season! I adore the nativity program I am able to carry to churches to help bring the birth of Jesus to life in a fresh way. It is my most complicated program to prepare, but when I see the excitement in children’s eyes as I bring out the giant balloon creations that make it possible, the effort is beyond worthwhile. Two children are transformed into Mary and Joseph, a giant balloon wall helps us know whether it’s a bright day in Nazareth or a starry night in Bethlehem, and a dozen other little touches help children engage with our savior’s birth personally. This year I was able to share this program in four different churches during December, and I’m excited to see how God uses it even more next year.
I can hardly believe 2018 is nearly on the books. This year flew by, yet, when I look back all the doors God has opened for Inflatable Stories, I am astounded by all that has happened in a mere 365 days. This ministry has traveled all the way to California in the west and up to Illinois in the North. I have been blessed to share for Upward Award Ceremonies, Vacation Bible Schools, Christmas events, school assemblies, and many other special events. I am so grateful that God has chosen to use me to share the Good News in this unique way. Here are a few of my favorite photos from the year:

Now we’re on to 2019! I would love for you to e-mail me your New Year’s resolutions. Here are mine:
1. Finish my second book, “The Twisted Tale of Adam and Eve.”
2. Continue improving each Inflatable Stories program so they can be more meaningful every time.
3. Develop a menu of balloon games and décor you can easily choose from to help your event pop (figuratively) even more.
4. Eat less cake.
5. Be closer to Jesus at the end of the year than I am as it starts.
