Wow! God has been blessing Inflatable Stories. After a great month of learning in January, the start of this year has brought incredible momentum, with the busiest month yet approaching in April.
January finished up with back-to-back Upward Award Ceremonies in Grenada, MS and Bossier, LA. Years ago, I had the opportunity to supervise an Upward program myself in a church I served, and I’m a big fan of the ministry. It is an honor to help churches bring an exciting conclusion to a busy season with a meaningful presentation of the gospel.
Early in March I had the opportunity to share for most of a week during a special event in Valdosta, GA. I love the momentum these multi-day events can build, particularly with kids, as they arrive each day wondering what inflatable adventure is next.
I have been humbled during the past few months as God has begun to open doors for back-to-back bookings and has equipped me with the knowledge, skill, and strategies to handle these tightly packed bookings without sacrificing any impact. I’ve always been a bit anxious about flying in the day of a booking and prepping my balloons, but God has proven bigger than my concerns. Even with a pair of bookings in OK and OR during the same weekend, everything still came together nicely. God is bigger than an airplane!
I’ve also been excited about new things in development. Since I will be visiting one church for the second Easter in a row, it is time for a brand-new Easter program, which I’m excited to be unveiling in a few weeks. I’ve also been trying to add exciting new items to my merch table that kids can connect with. In particular, I’m testing out giant balloon dog kits so kids can make their own larger-than-life balloon dog. I hope to see a new generation develop a love for the art, and perhaps even bring in the next era of Inflatable Stories.
