I’ve used the beginning of 2026 to grow and challenge myself. For several years I’ve centered the majority of my communication around Inflatable Stories, but a few weeks ago I took a refreshing weekend speaking for high school students about the Holy Spirit, without balloons.

Don’t worry, balloons are still my favorite connection point to share the Good News, and I’ve been investing the time to learn new skills and draw fresh inspiration so I can be my absolute best for you. Here’s some of what I’ve been up to. In a few weeks, I’ll tell you about this year’s Twist and Shout balloon convention.

Summer is starting to fill up, as are some key dates in the Spring and Fall. Please keep me in mind as your planning.

Thanks for challenging yourself as you invest in your children. You’re making a difference as you grow: In the day-to-day rush, in your personal spiritual growth, and as you develop creative new skills to help you be impactful for the Kingdom. Undoubtedly some days are challenging, but God is using your investment.

Routed Easter Opportunity

I’m in Warsaw, VA on Friday during Easter weekend, which is a terrific opportunity for a nearby church to save on a last-minute routed date that Saturday. Also, Easter Sunday is currently still available. I think this is the first time I’ve had that day available since Inflatable Stories began, and it could be the last Easter weekend opportunity for a while since 2027 is already booked. Let us know if you’d like to plan a special day.

Anytime you see a nearby date on my upcoming calendar, it’s worth exploring a routed date.

12 Days of Unicorn Horns

I spent 12 days practicing a difficult unicorn horn on social media, and I still find myself trying to perfect it. But I’m determined to grow my skills. I ended up putting a horn on a large balloon unicorn while doing announcements at my own church as a nice finish to all the practice.
