Inflatable Stories Fall Update

I hope you’re having a wonderful Fall at your church! Now that things are somewhat “normal” again, I would love to hear what ministry programs are working well for your church family and community.

For Inflatable Stories, the summer had a fantastic finish. July was, as expected, a very big month. Despite needing some crazy travel plans to make it everywhere, the month went smoothly. August was a bit less intense, but it did bring a few wonderful opportunities to share, and some interesting travel challenges. I was intrigued to share in Roswell, NM — an area that has embraced its quirky history of UFO sightings. I did spot a UFO, which turned out to be the McDonald’s. In Southlake, TX I was so blessed to share with their enthusiastic children’s ministry, and I was blown away at the way they empowered their youth to invest in their kids. I was so grateful to be welcomed graciously in each city I visited. The month finished up with opportunities in Carrollton, GA, St. Albans, WV and Warrenton, VA.

The final two visits of August brought some of the biggest travel hiccups I’ve had in a long time. Because of one landing light, my flight out on Delta was delayed too long to make my connection, and I had to race to find a last-minute red-eye flight on American Airlines to get where I needed to be the next morning. That led to a sleep-deprived drive Saturday night, but God provided, and I felt like both bookings were a huge blessing.

Flashback to Trick or Treating online with Inflatable Stories in 2020

Fall started slowly with a surprisingly calm September, but things are picking up in a big way to finish the year. It’s the season of Fall Festivals and Trunk-or-Treats, which makes for a fantastic time to bring in Inflatable Stories. And, of course, I’m excited to finish the year with live Inflatable Nativities all over the country in December.

I trust God is going to use each of us to spread the Good News to our hurting world.

In Christ,
Dan
