Inflatable Stories 2023 Summer Recap
What a summer!<!–

What a summer! Honestly, I can’t believe I get to do what I do with Inflatable Stories. The privilege of carrying the Good News around our country sometimes leaves me speechless as I think about how God helps me connect life-changing messages through something as simple and light-hearted as balloons. In the last month, I’ve had the opportunity to share in places as far apart as Oregon, the Southern border of Texas, and the Carolinas. Geographically, it’s hard to get much further apart within the United States, yet we are all brought together by the love of Christ.
I have admired the ministries of Silva International for many years, so I was very excited to minister along with this faithful organization this summer at Celebrate Central Oregon. I’m frequently blown away by the work I see people like you doing across the United States.
This was a steady summer with a few hectic pockets. Thanks to a conference earlier this year, I was able to make some incredible connections in Oklahoma and spend some quality time sharing there. But it wasn’t entirely a summer of new connections, I was also blessed to return to some churches I have visited before. After a few opportunities to minister together, it can begin to feel like I am ministering alongside old friends.
When I was barely an adult, I had the opportunity to drive up the tallest drivable mountain road in Rocky Mountain National Park, and I chucked at the sign at the top bragging it was, “12,005 Feet, Above sea level and higher than Oregon’s famed Mount Hood.” Last month I finally got to see that famed mount when it popped up right along my road to a program. Sure enough, it was so short that I could put my finger on top.
Now I am excited to see what opportunities emerge as summer transitions to Fall. August and early September are going to be busy with a lot of bookings scattered around the Southeast, plus a little personal adventure I have been dreaming of and saving for a long time. But there is still plenty of time to make plans for late September and those special Fall events and festivals in October, along with some slots to partner together for my Inflatable Nativity program this Christmas.
As always, thank you for the ministry you are doing everyday in your community. I’m sure you don’t hear it enough, but you are amazing!
